Ellijay City Council Meeting Schedule
Every third Monday Work Session begins at 5:30 p.m. with city Council meeting starting 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. Meetings are open to the public with an opportunity for public comment.
NOTICE
The Mayor and City Council of the City of Ellijay will be presented a proposal of the operating budget for the calendar year 2027 at a special called meeting on October 26, 2026 at 8:30 AM at City Hall. The budget proposal will be available for review at City Hall after such meeting and on the City website. A public hearing will be held to discuss the proposed budget on October 26, 2026 at 8:45 AM at City Hall. The adoption of the budget will tentatively take place during a special called meeting of the City Council on November 2, 2026 at 6:00 PM at City Hall.
