1st Saturday/2nd Saturay

The weather will not cooperate again this Saturday, so our downtown celebration has again been cancelled. Join us for fun, food, games and music, plus late shopping and store specials for First Saturday, June 1, on the square.

A Star-Spangled Beach Party

Annual Celebration to include Parade, Fireworks, and Beach Party. Thousands line the streets for our biggest parade of the year. This year it’s a “Star Spangled Beach Party” with themed floats, a “No Buffet Live” music line-up, Corn Hole and other outdoor games, and traditional summer food and fun vendors. The parade starts at 6 p.m., the party starts afterward, and the fireworks begin about dark-thirty. Your group can be part of the festivities. Ellijay’s North Georgia Quilt Trail Is Covering the Region


Ellijay’s North Georgia Quilt Trail is the brainchild of local merchant Sherryl Adams, who had seen the trails in North Carolina and brought the idea to downtown. She and Jim Harmon are spreading the idea throughout the county.
