Stay on River Street for No Buffet Live, an evening of Buffet without Buffet.

The fireworks show starts about thirty minutes after dark

Get Ready for a Who-balation!

Light Up Ellijay is set for November 29 in downtown Elli-Whoville.

The festivities, with music, caroling, and dancing, begin at 5 p.m. but store specials and craft vendor offerings go on all afternoon.

Christmas in Elli-Whoville will be the theme of this year’s parade which begins at 6 p.m. Get your craziest hair-dos and outfits going.

Lighting of the Who-tree will be at about 6:45.

Stores have decorated their windows and will again compete for the coveted best window award. They’ll be showing a Christmas spirit never before seen downtown.

Members of the high school chorus will participate in the program. High school art students have made special sets for your pictures with Santa or the Grinch. He’ll be wondering around with his own brand of humor and love. And we have a few surprises this year. Stay tuned.
